I thought my tattoo might be appreciated here, its a slight variation on the standard design, replacing 'No Surrender' with 'Ulster-Scots' and the Union Jack with the Saltire for the Ulster/Scotland combination.

I got it done at a little place on the Shankill Rd, was gonna get it done on the forearm first but was told it would fit better onto the upper arm.

Looks well and the Ulster-Scots connection says it all. Bit hard to make out but the star seems to be sitting out over the cross. That's the way that it should be. There are a lot of Ulster flags (in fact most of them) and the star and red hand are buried in the middle of the red cross so much so that sometimes it can even be mistaken for a St George's flag.

Ulster Protestants consider themselves to be a separate nation. This nation they call Ulster
