Is this the flag that the 2nd National Ulster Flag is based on? Could well be I think.

I'm inclined to agree Slappa. But I was up talking to the independence boys on Monday. One of them was doing an interview with my mate from America. The one that did the Ulster-Dixie video.

In this interview he said it was based on the Cross of St Patrick on a blue Scottish flag background.

Maybe so,but still can't help feeling that the Covenanter Flag must have had some influence. Especially when the Presbyterian minister the Rev Ross was in the Independence Movement. Indeed he got thei most votes ever in an election.

Beautiful flag. Very similiar to our own St Andrew's Cross in Dixie. Actually there was a reverse colour Confederate flag flown by one of our armies (can't remember which at the moment) that was just like this flag except it had stars for our sovereign States in the cross.
