| As someone under the age of 50, and in touch with modern forms of technology that enable me to access today's news today, I haven't read the aforementioned publication for several years however, given the recent unrest in Donegall Street and Denmark Street, I have (without purchasing, obviously) had the misfortune to read through the articles and viewpoints in the tele. What an awful, anti-unionist rag it has become in the pointless prostitution of itself for readers.
A newspaper in terminal decline, selling approximately a third the number of copies it sold ten years ago, it decides to stop targeting its established target audience, and to switch its sales pitch to a time of day when its market is saturated with better English (and more staunchly Irish republican) than it can ever hope to be.
The sooner this piece of poorly written, middle class, anti-loyalist, fire lighting aid dissapears, the better IMO.
Any thoughts?
