Aye, and they all rode on the back of those who ended up dead or in jail to get where they are. And they are still using the ordinary people.

The PC party have the slogan 'principle before politics'. I hope that is the case and continues to be so but I have my doubts. You usually find that once they become involved in politics they behave like the rest. We know what has happened here with the 'not an inch' DUP but even across on the mainland we had John Prescott a one time 'shop steward' on the boats and later a Labour MP calling those in the House of Lords...''the vermin in ermine''. Now he sits in the House of Lords as one of those ''vermin in ermine''.

At worst they are all gangsters,at best they are all conmen! Their principle is....not to have a principle.

Very true, I think they are all soaked up into the political system. Basically they enjoy the thrill of politics and the gravy train that comes with it.  There's very few Ministers these days who would ever resign over such a thing as principle. In Ulster the likes of Jim Allister and Bob McCartney are both exceptions compared to most of our other Unionist politicians, it's no coincidence that these two men of principle also earned their money outside the political field and were able to take decisions that they based to be best for their People and Country without being concerned about risking losing out on thousands.

Good point about Jim Allister and Bob McCartney. I would go along with that.
