It seems that  ''the pigeons are coming home to roost now'' with another batch of Protestant schools to close. This has been in the offing for some time now. Park Parade, Lisnasharragh, Larkfeld, Kelvin, Malone, Ulsterville etc are just some of those I can recall closing. I'm sure there are a lot more in different areas.

Been a long campaign to drive Protestant families out of Belfast and towards the suburbs or towns that make up Greater Belfast. Kids from Tigers Bay, York Road, Shore Road etc, go to school in Glengormley and Monkstown. Our kids in South Belfast head to Dunmurry and Lisburn for school. Making it easier for families to move towards the schools or the kids themselves moving to these areas to be close to their friends they made at school. helping leave a aging Protestant population in the City.

Very true, and unfortunately the DUP leadership have decided to abandon it to secure their stronghold of Castlereagh and Lisburn councils.

To the outer limits as the title of an old TV series put it. But we have had plenty of warning as to what was happening, but decided to do nothing about it. After all watp and God was in his heaven and he was an Orangeman and everything was alright with Ulster.  What are Desertmartin and Pettigo today? Just reading a piece earlier today and they were mentioned in it.
