Maybe the writing was on the wall after the Liverpool defeat. In a pre-season match last year they beat Chelsea 2-0

Its gonna cost them an estimated 10 million by missing out at the first hurdle.

Lee McCulloch says they had the wrong attitude. It was a team thing,they had been in the final last year and thought this would just be an inconvenient dawdle,before getting on with the real business.

Just watched the Ulster News sports. They said this is the worst performance by a Rangers team in 52 years of European football. They also reported that the money Rangers would have got by staying in the competion,will now go to Celtic.

A double whammy.

True enough RSAUB. I think maybe now they've got this money for Cuellar. We might see Steve Davies back. Although I wish they could have held on to Cuellar too.
