lol... "invasion of Manchest"? Is that a Catholic area? I know there have been a lot of Irish Catholics immigrating there but not sure how extensive it is. Though from the artice I read on the BBC a few weeks ago, the UK is now more Catholic than Protestant for the first time in many hundred years. Even Blair went to Rome to become Catholic. Big changes.

no, manchester like most cities in england have a few prod folk "in the know" or like liverpool considerably loads more with big ulster settlements, and same for each city and irish immigrant, who most certainly "know their stuff" manchester has a few loyal estates and more feinian ones, but as this was the cp final 200000+ supporters from all over world filled the city to see them, with many as shown taking their music with them!

Only seeing this now. Great stuff. I remember being in Manchester when Rangers played Manchester Utd. Another great day when the Rangers supporters were there in their thousands. up smile
